Is FL Studio newtone good?
Newtone is far better, but introduces unnatural resonances in sounds you pitch correct. In non-vocal sounds it’s usually ok, but on vocals, it makes them sound bad. I had pointed out some weaknesses of Newtone in a post, and by doing a quick forum search with my name, you could find it easily.
How do I import audio into newtone?
Now to get the audio you want to edit into NewTone, you can drag the audio clip from your browser into the NewTone interface. This will analyze the audio, and then add it to the interface. If the audio track you want to use is in your FL Studio project, you can export it out and then drag it into the NewTone effect.

Should I buy NewTone?
I would say newtone is worth it as it works very good and it is very easy to use once you learn it. Not very much learning needed either. Plus, you get harmless, grossbeat and finally pitcher, that might be useful as it is related to newtone. Grossbeat works well for beats as well as synths.
