Should I replace my Athlon II X2 with a phenom CPU?
Installed this CPU in place of my old Athlon II X2 a couple weeks ago. Performance is much better (4 cores vs. 2), but the best part is the excellent multitasking. The Phenom runs a bit faster but is limited somewhat by my current MB (soon to be replaced) and slow RAM (also soon to be replaced).
